Joseph Jerome Lambert, in his 36th season, of Arkadelphia died Saturday, August 11, 2007, in Nevada County. He was born May 29, 1971, in Arkadelphia, son of Annie Louise Perry and Joseph Lambert.
He was an employee of Danfoss and a Firefighter with A-Company for the City of Arkadelphia, a member of Greater Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. He was a 1991 graduate of the Arkadelphia High School and a graduate of Oklahoma State University and attended Baylor University. He played professional basketball in Israel and pledged with the Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joseph and Mary Lambert and Gladis and Hattie M. Davis.
He was married to the former Tracey L. Green
He is survived by his children, Hallie Grace Bradford Lambert, and Tyler Xavier Lambert of Acworth, GA; mother, Annie Louise Perry of Arkadelphia, father, Joseph Lambert of Arkadelphia, three brothers, Henry L. McDaniel of Antoine, Lawrence Harris of Arkadelphia, Rodney Perry of Milwaukee, WI, six sisters, Carolyn Harris, Toni Patterson, Shelia Helms, Cecelia Helms all of Arkadelphia, Gwendolyn Perry of Milwaukee, WI, and Jennifer Gray of Little Rock.
A Service of Remeberance will be held Saturday, August 18, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. in Third Street Baptist Church with Dr. Lewis A. Shepherd, Jr., officiating. Commital Service & Final Resting Place in Helms Cemetery professionally directed by Williams Funeral Home.
You may visit Jerome & Tracey Friday from 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home. The family will receive & greet friends from 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at Greater Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
Bearers of the Casket will be members of the Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. Honorary Bearers will be memberd of the Arkadelphia Fire Department and Employees of Danfoss.
