Gail DeLoach

January 26, 1923 — November 18, 2007

Our heavenly father saw fit to call Gail "Sporty" DeLoach from this earth to a better place. His passing reminds us that life is uncertain, but death is sure. Gail was the son of the late Elijah and Lillie Jackson DeLoach. He was born May 26, 1923 in the Manchester Community. He professed a hope in Christ under the late Elder Archie Jones at Panky's Addition COGIC in Little Rock, Arknasas. Gail later moved to Arkdelphia and united with Tate Temple COGIC where he sang in the choir. He was a retired employee of Reynolds Metal Company and member of the Union Steel Workers. On Sunday, November 18th, after 84 seasons, Gail bid farewell to his loved ones and entered into eternal peaceful rest with the Lord. He was preceded in death by a son Lynn Dell DeLoach, and his only sister Ada, who died on November 18, 2007, just 12 sweet minutes after his transition. One fact of life about Gail DeLoach is that he never changed from being a humble man. Those left to remember his life are four children; Lillie White of Arkadelphia, AR, Ben & his wife Barbara DeLoach of Memphis, TN, Lawrence & his wife Michelle DeLoach of Little Rock, AR, and Apostle Gary & his wife Ella DeLoach of Jacksonville, AR; one aunt, Eloise Jones of Arkdelphia, AR; fifteen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and a caravan of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, numerous friends and the Tate Temple COGIC family.
