Kennedy Hale

July 6, 2006 — October 16, 2012

Psalm 24:3-4 Who may ascend the mountain of the Lord? Who may stand in his holy place? The one who has clean hands and a pure heart….. Kennedy Nicole Hale was born into time July 6, 2006, in Little Rock, Arkansas.  She was the child of Krystal Williams and Johnny Hale, Jr.  Kennedy was called home to be with our Lord and Savior on Tuesday, October 16, 2012, at Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas.  She was a very strong little one as she fought a good fight and ended her course. Kennedy was a very precious child that had a smile and laughter that radiated and warmed the hearts of those that came in contact with her.  One of her greatest joys was listening to her Nana's voice and her mother singing to her. She enjoyed listening to music and being with her family, caretakers and other children at the various facilities she attended such as Easter Seals, Little Rock; Pediatrics Specialists, Arkadelphia; Arkansas Pediatrics, Little Rock; and Kids First, Little Rock. Though her life on earth was very abbreviated, we are grateful for the beauty, joy and inspiration that she brought into the lives of many.  The precious memories of her life will continue to remain within our hearts.  On several occasions, Kennedy attended Second Baptist Church in Little Rock, Rev. Kevin Kelly, Pastor; Mt. Morriah Baptist Church, Rev. Vernon Moody, Sr., pastor; and Tate Temple Church Of God In Christ, Superintendent Leroy Williams, pastor.  It was always a pleasure to see her enter the sanctuary with the pleasant disposition that she portrayed.  She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Gladys Owens; her great grandmother, Missionary Bobbie Williams and  her great grandfather, Murry Moody. Kennedy leaves to remember her life and fine example of courage, strength, and endurance, with her mother, Krystal Williams of Little Rock and her father, Johnny Hale, Jr., of Arkadelphia; two brothers, Kayden Harrell of Little Rock, Jerome Hale of Los Angeles, California; three sisters, Kelsey Williams, India Hale of Little Rock and Jazmine Hale  of Los Angeles, California; her grandparents, Audrey Williams Moore of Little Rock, Rev. Vernon and Ruby Moody of Arkadelphia and Johnny Hale, Sr., of Okolona; her great grandparents, Arthur Williams, Sr., Lee and Linda Johnson and Earthline Thomas, all of Arkadelphia; and Ethel Lee Moody of Ville Plat, Louisiana;  four uncles, Blake Moody, Sr., of Little Rock and Vernon Moody, Jr., of Arkadelphia and Jacobi Hale and Stephen Hale of Los Angeles, California and one aunt, April Moody of Arkadelphia. She also leaves her god family, Julius Golden and Kathy Green and her god brother, Jacobbi Jackson, many uncles, aunts, numerous relatives and friends. Kennedy will lie in repose at the funeral home Friday, October 19, 2012, from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. A service of thanksgiving for the life of Kennedy will be shared on Saturday, October 20, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at Gennesaret Missionary Baptist Church where Rev. Frederick Smith is the pastor. Rev. Vernon Moody, her grandfather and the pastor of Mt. Morriah Baptist Church will deliver the celebration message. The committal service and final resting place will be in Piney Grove Cemetery. To view video click video tribute.
