Patricia Jean Taylor

December 29, 1953 — October 10, 2013

Patricia Jean Edgar Taylor was born on December 19, 1953 in Los Angeles, California to John, Jr., and Willie Mae Edgar. Patricia was a graduate of Compton High School in Compton, California and California State University in Dominquez Valley. She met Kevin through a “play Cousin” in Los Angeles and after a brief courtship their loved soon blossomed into a marriage on November 30, 1991. Kevin and Patricia moved to Arkadelphia. Together they enjoyed the fruits of southern living; especially fishing. Patricia possessed a fun-loving spirit and never met a stranger. She was full of love and laughter. Patricia was a graduate of Henderson State University and a member of New Life Church. In her 59th season of life she passed into the Lord’s embrace on October 10, 2013. To know her was to love her. Her passing leaves a void in the many hearts she touched. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband Kevin Taylor; four children, Eddie Elliot, III., of Los Angeles, CA, Kevin Taylor, II., of Los Angeles, CA, Lakeisha Taylor of Arkadelphia, AR, and Ebony Smith of Little Rock, AR; one granddaughter, Alana Taylor; one sister, Angie Edgar of Long Beach, CA; her father and mother-in-law, Glenn and Barbara Taylor of Arkadelphia, AR; and a host of other relatives and friends. A Memorial Service to remember her life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 17, 2013 at J. L. Williams Chapel of Williams Funeral Home. Pastor Martin Jones will officiate. Mr. and Mrs. Charles and Tara Williams will host a repast at their home, 1203 Cutler Street after the memorial. Cremation services are provided by Williams Funeral Home.
