Rodney Keith Brownlee

RODNEY KEITH BROWNLEE was born in Arkadelphia, Arkansas to the parents Samuel L. Grandy and Ms. Lois L. Brownlee.  He received his education in Arkadelphia, AR and completed his studies in Wilmer-Hutchins High School on May 22, 1977. He worked at Kipps Big Boy and Interstate Battery for 5 years. He was currently operating Sherry’s Place until the Lord called him home. He was preceded in death by his parents. He leaves to cherish his memories, his beloved wife, Sherry Jimerson-Brownlee, sons, Michael Peters (Regina) and Korman Hill; daughter, Latonya Brownlee-Houston (Damien) and two grandchildren; siblings, Leroy Brownlee (Vera) of Little Rock, AR; James Grandy (Gladys), Eula Grant (Lewis) both of Dallas, TX; Herbert Allison of Arkadelphia, AR; Ricky Conerly (Rose), Freddie Conerly, Genetta Conerly, Raymond Conerly (Beatha), Morocco Conerly (Rochelle), all of Dallas, TX; Samuel L. Grandy of Little Rock, AR; George Grandy (Sue), Shelia Grandy, Rolland McNeal, Freeman Jones (Venessia), Mary Ann Williams (Stewart), Pamela Lucas, all of Arkadelphia, AR; Billy Carr of Hot Springs, AR and Leon Grandy of Little Rock, AR and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. Public visitation at the funeral home Friday, April 25, 2014 2:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. with the family hour 6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.  A graveside service celebrating the life of Mr. Brownlee will be held Saturday, April 26, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. in Piney Grove Cemetery.
