Annie Pearl Harrison

July 2, 1956 — March 4, 2009

As the sun was rising on July 2, 1956, it meant the beginning of life for Annie Pearl Briggs. This beautiful baby girl was born to Willie Briggs and Patsy L. Cooks. Annie Pearl accepted Christ at a tender age and united with the Macedonia Baptist Church Family. She grew up in Sparkman, Arkansas where she received her formal education and graduated from Sparkman High School. She was a fun loving woman and a friendly person whose smile touched the hearts of many. She was very caring and never met a stranger. Annie Pearl was a faithful member of Macedonia Baptist Church where she served as vice-president of Young Women for Christ until her health would no longer permit her to do so. She was a dedicated employee of Danfoss, who was known as a hard worker and will be sorely missed by her co-workers. On Wednesday, March 4, 2009, in her 52nd season, the sun set on the life of Annie Pearl at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock, Arkansas. Those awaiting her arrival and to welcome her home are her father Willie Briggs, and step-father John Butler. Butler of Arkadelphia, AR; two brothers Carl Cooks and his wife Queenie of Arkadelphia, AR, and Larry Cooks of Hope, AR; step-sisters, Carolyn Williams and her husband Herman of Modesto, CA, Felicia Roberts and her husband Alvin of Atwater, CA, Alleashia Thomas and her husband Stanley of Atwater, CA, Charlotte Marcella and her husband Michael of Mercedes, CA; one god-sister Bobbie White and her husband Larry of Malvern, AR.
