Levenise Mitchell

Levenise Mitchell was born May 6, 1936 in Arkadelphia, Arkansas to the union of George and Clemmie T. Mitchell. In 1953 he enlisted into the Unites States Army. After serving in the Army he worked as a police office with the Chicago Police Department. After relocating to Arkadelphia he worked for the Arkadelphia Police Department. He was a private man, who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. His hobbies included watching countless hours of westerns, scratch-off lottery tickets and just having a good time. He passed into the Lord's embrace on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock. Levenise leaves in God’s care his daughter, Crystal Brittain and a granddaughter, Ashley Brittain both of Arkadelphia. He also leaves numerous cousins and several other friends. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 25, 2016 at Williams Funeral Home. Interment will be at the VA Cemetery in North Little Rock, Arkansas.
