Alice Marie Buckley Hunter

On February 7, 2017 a light that bound two families together was blown out by a loving Father who makes no mistakes. Alice Marie Hunter was born November 21, 1943 to Alice Jefferson & Fred Hunter Jr. in Gum Springs, AR. She was a 1961 graduate of Peake High School & would live in Malvern & Hot Springs before finally returning to Arkadelphia to live. She worked at Merit Cleaners, Craighead Cleaners, Arlington Hotel, Riverwood Nursing Home, Beverly Nursing Home & OBU Foster Grandparent Program at Peake Elementary, Her sweet disposition always made her a friend to anyone she met. Her mom later met and married, Mr. Matthew Buckley and to this union was born seven children. Her dads later married Ms. Seneva Knox and to this union was born six children. As the oldest of all siblings, Alice left us with an excellent & humble example of what a big sister should be. She loved spending time with her sisters (always ready to ride), attending her nieces & nephews ballgames & birthday parties & listening to gospel music & those bus trips with friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, stepparents, grandparents, two siblings, aunts, uncles and numerous cousins.
