Armanii Victoria NyShy Pigg was born on September 5, 2002, in Lansing, Michigan, to Amber Graham McKinney and Luis Lopez. At an early age, she was lovingly adopted by her great-great grandparents, Clifton and Annie Pigg, who helped nurture and guide her life.
On January 6, 2026, Armanii gained her wings after a courageous and well-fought battle. Though her journey was marked by strength and perseverance, God saw that she was growing weary and gently called her home. She was preceded in death by her great-great grandparents, Clifton and Annie Pigg; her grandmother, Antigone Davis; her great-grandfathers, Andrew Graham and Henry Brown; and her sister, Aeyonah Graham.
Armanii was a proud graduate of Waverly High School and later began pursuing college courses before facing a rare form of leukemia in 2022. Despite her diagnosis, she remained resilient. She was blessed with a son, Jamar Lavant “MarMar” Goings, whom she loved deeply and devoted herself to as a caring and dedicated mother.
Armanii had a passion for music and aspired to become a rapper. She was also a strong advocate, using her YouTube platform to raise awareness about leukemia and inspire others through her journey. She loved life and cherished her family and friends. Most importantly, she recommitted her life to Christ and stood firmly on His Word until the very end.
She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved son, Jamar Lavant “MarMar” Goings; her mother, Amber McKinney; her father, Luis Lopez; her sisters, Kania McGhee and others; her brother, Amire “Debo” Rolland; her great-grandmother, Clarice Brown; her aunts, Audra Allen Brown, Armanda Brown, Aja Brown, and Alexus Brown; her uncles, Adrian Brown and Alexander Brown; her great aunts, Angela Graham, Andrea Graham, and Lisa (Dee) Johnson; her great uncle, Anthony Graham; along with a host of cousins, extended family, and dear friends.
She also leaves behind special friends and loved ones: Jaheim Glasscoe, Camarie Davis, Tiana Minor, Pedra Rush, Tayanna Rolland, Brandy Owens, Summer Owens, and Savanna Maldonado. Special prayers and heartfelt thanks are extended to MarMar’s paternal grandparents, Mr. Samarie and Mrs. Chalon Douglas.
Armanii’s life, though brief, was filled with purpose, love, and strength. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
