After 35 beautiful seasons of life Bridgette Le’Shun Porchia passed from this life on Saturday, March 28, 2026. Her life left a lasting impression on all who knew and loved her.
Bridgette was born on October 14, 1990, and raised in Camden, Arkansas to the union of Gregory Porchia and Patrice Beavers Porchia.She was a lively and energetic spirit, especially as the twin sister to her brother, Brandon. Together, they were raised in a loving and nurturing home. Coming from a large and close-knit family on both the Porchia and Beavers sides, her cousins were her lifelong friends.
Bridgette accepted Christ at an early age at Brown’s Temple Church of God in Christ, where her foundation of faith began.During her youth, she participated in gymnastics, cheerleading and basketball. She enjoyed keeping up with the latest hair styles, wearing makeup, and expressing her vibrant personality. She graduated from Camden Fairview High School in 2009, where she was well-known and admired among her peers.
Bridgette possessed a caring and nurturing spirit. She worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant in local nursing homes in Camden, where her gentle heart and sweet disposition brought comfort and compassion to the patients she served.Family meant everything to Bridgette. She treasured family gatherings, reunions, and most importantly, spending quality time with her children. She was a dedicated and hardworking mother who always provided for her children, by carrying the strength of both parents with grace. She was preceded in death by her mother, Patrice Beavers Porchia, grandparents, Williams and Patricia Ann Beavers and Fred and Cleo Porchia.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory: father, Gregory (Vickie) Porchia of Camden, Arkansas; children, Dakylan Hunter and Kylei Fletcher, both of Camden; two beloved grandchildren, Ja’Kylah Fort and Dior Brown of Camden, AR; her sisters, Fantasia Beavers of Little Rock, AR and Mariah Steward of Camden, AR, brothers; Courtney Beavers, Gregory (Samantha) Porchia, Brandon (Brittany) Porchia all of Camden, AR, and Keatron “Spiderman” Berry of Little Rock, AR. She also has a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts. Special thanks to aunt, Zella Berry of Camden, AR.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 3, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Word Family Church. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2026, at 2:30 PM at Word Family Church, with Bishop Jacovis Davis officiating with interment to follow at Patton Cemetery.
