Danielle Zari Dennis

November 28, 1993 — November 5, 2020

Danielle Zari Dennis was born on November 28, 1993 in Bellevue, Washington, to Robert and Janice (Hunter) Dennis.

Danielle was a ray of sunshine to everyone she met. As a child all the neighborhood kids loved her, young and old; she was the neighborhood. She also made many friends through her years as a Brownie and a Girl Scout, earning a Cookie Diva badge, as well as many other badges. Danielle and her mom were affectionately known as “cookie pimps” in the neighborhood.

Weighing in at a hefty 103 pounds, Danielle was a varsity wrestler for Jackson High School in Millcreek, Washington, where she lettered her first year.  After high school Danielle studied at Seattle Art Institute. At Seattle Art Institute, Danielle honed her already stellar computer skills. Skills she shared with family and friends.

Danielle was a loving and compassionate person who loved to take long walks with her furbabies; Shewey, Mack and Gizmo.  Never meeting a stranger, nor failing to lend a helping hand to those in need; Danielle was known to bring homeless young adults and teens home for a hot meal, or just to sleep in the dry warmth for a few hours.

Danielle enjoyed writing, drawing, illustrating and spending time with friends and family. Danielle especially found joy in taking care of children. Children were drawn to her petite stature, bright eyes, dimples, soothing manner and warm smile.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Danielle is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Willie and Bertha Mae(Quince)Dennis. Danielle is survived by her parents, Janice Hunter-Dennis and Robert C. Dennis; siblings, James E Combs III(Porsha) and Shakeba Dennis; nephews, Kairee Brown, James Combs IV, Collins Combs; nieces, Aijah and Noir Combs and Kayla Smith; grandparents Geneva and Warren Hunter Jr; uncle Warren Tyrone Hunter; aunts, Rochelle Hunter-James(McKenzie), Delores Donohue(Brenner) Jackie Dennis-Samson(Eddie), Patricia Dennis and numerous great aunts, great uncles, cousins and friends.
