Darian Malik Marlow

July 10, 1997 — June 27, 2020

Darian was born in Hope Arkansas on July 10, 1997.  He graduated from Prescott High School.  Darian was voted class clown of his class. He was the most caring, polite, and was a friend to all.  He had the most charismatic smile.

Darian was trying to instill those same characteristics in his son, Jace.  He loved spending time with his family and his son more than anything.  The holidays were is favorite time, he loved to eat.  Darian loved music and dancing; he was dancing before he could walk.  He liked making dance videos with his cousin, Skylee (Rylee).  As he grew older, he picked up another love, football.  He gained the nickname early “The Truth” his coach thought he was the real deal.  As he went on to play high school football, he created the name, Dee Marz which is draped the back of his letterman jacket.

Darian was one of the best lock-down corners in the state, and even ranked amongst the best in the state.  Darian attended college at Pulaski Tech after high school and later decided to enter the work field.  He even tried to make a comeback and venture back into football, as he played some semi-pro football until he was injured.  Always venturing out to beyond his limits, Darian introduced the world to Dee.Marlo the rapper with the hit “Run It Up.”  If he had an idea, we wanted to make it happen.  The Man we know and love…Our #5, The Father, The Friend, The Dancer, The Rapper.

He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Gail Scott, and his grandfather Leo Williams.

Darian is survived by his mother, Satarra (Jeffery) Williams; his father, Samuel (Jordie) Marlow, Jr; two special grandmothers, Pam Dixon and Elaine Williams; grandfathers, Bennie Dixon and Samuel Marlow Sr;  one brother, his “bro-bro” Jeffery Williams Jr.; three sisters, Kennedi and Ky Williams, and Whitnneay Mullins; one son, his pride and joy Jace Malik Marlow; four aunts, Kendra Scott, Tamar Marlow, Kim Nelson, and Ashley Dixon (Special Aunt); four uncles, Rafeal (April) Marlow, Lamar Dixon, Derrick (Tamiko) Williams, and Michael (Faye) Williams.
