Fred Allen Green, Sr., affectionately known as “Da Squeeze” was born April 2, 1957, to the late Otis & Minnie Lee Lois Green. The beloved legend of Camden, Arkansas departed this life on January 24, 2024.
He met his ex-wife and still forever love Deborah Haulcy Purifoy in the 8th grade in Saginaw, Michigan. The two lovebirds later had one son, Fred A. Green, Jr., and two daughters Lavon Green and La Jeana Joe. When their three children were young, they moved from Saginaw, Michigan to be with the Green’s in Camden, Arkansas. Later in life his 1st granddaughter, Ye’Dayah Washington was born to join their family.
Fred was preceded in death by his parents, Otis & Minnie Lee; his brother Pete Garha of Rio Di Sta, CA; two Sisters, Mae Otis Humphrey, and Denise Green both of Saginaw, MI.
He leaves to cherish his memories with his beloved, Deborah; three children, Fred Green, Jr., Lavon Green, and LaJeana (Mathew) Joe. He was the grandfather to not only Ye’Dayah Washington, but to Tierra Hopson, Talia Cannon, and Nathan Cannon as well. He leaves three brothers, Darnell (Geraldine “FeFe”) Green, James (Shirley) Green, Terry (Jennifer) Green all of Saginaw, MI; his special in-laws, Caroline Haulcy McBride, Verta Lynn Green, nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and many other friends.

A memorial service will be at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, February 2, 2024, at Whitest Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Camden, Arkansas, with Elder R. "Reese" Broadnax, eulogist.
