Gary Jerome Torrence

Bro. Gary Torrence was born June 11, 1961. He departed his life on April 3, 2026, in Olympia, Washington. He accepted Christ at an early age with the New Jerusalem Baptist Church.

He moved to Seattle Washington after graduating high school and serving in the United States Army Reserve. He met the love of his life Deloris Trevino, who he married and spent many years together until her death.

He worked as a trucker for many years and eventually started his own company called “G.T. Trucking”. Gary was a loving and kindhearted person, always willing to help others and his family when possible.

It was always a happy time with family and friends when he visited home. He had a very special bond with his nieces and nephews that will be remembered forever.

He is proceeded in death by his brothers; Roger, Calvin, and Earnest.

He leaves to cherish his memory his mother Gerteen Moore; his sisters, Brenda Graves (Lee), and Verlene Prosper (Knox) of Camden, AR; his longtime friend, Wade Walker; a special cousin, Hattie Alexander, a host of relatives and friends who loved him dearly.
