Sis. Glory Dean Hardy was born March 16, 1952 in Camden, Arkansas, to the late Roosevelt Furlow, Sr., and Catherine Furlow. She departed this life February 10, 2026 in her home.

She accepted Christ at an early age and united with the Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church. She later joined the Whitest Chapel Baptist Church where she served faithfully and was dedicated and committed over the years in various positions such as YWA Vice President, Deaconess, Assistant Youth Director, Pastor Aide Committee, member of Adult Sunday School class, member of Wednesday Bible Study class, member of Kitchen Committee, Mission Vice President and Announcement Clerk until her health would no longer allow her to.

She graduated from Camden High School in 1971 and later went on to graduate from Capital City Business College in Little Rock in 1973.

She was united in holy matrimony to Willie R. Hardy, her childhood sweetheart, March 26, 1974 and to this union three children were born, Gerrick, Tory, and Krystal. They were married for almost 52 years.

Over her career, she was employed at General Dynamics, Southwest AR Planning & Development, before retiring from Arkansas Workforce as a Case Manager. Glory enjoyed cooking and helping others. She served on the Arkansas Single Parent Scholarship Board, Plant-A-Seed Foundation, and was an active member of Outstanding Women of Distinction where she worked tirelessly.

She loved God, her husband, her children, grandchildren, her family, church family, and her community.

She was preceded in death by her father: Roosevelt Furlow Sr; her mother: Catherine Furlow; mother-in-law: Betty Hardy; one sister: Mae Retta Clark; aunt: Rosie Lee Parott; nephew: Larry Hunter; and niece: Kecia Neal.

She leaves to cherish her memories: Her loving and devoted husband: Willie Hardy of Camden, AR; one daughter: Krystal (Kewon) Singleton of Collierville, TN, two sons: Tory (Denedra) Hardy of Ovilla, TX; and Gerrick (Twonia) Hardy of The Colony, TX; one sister: Mary Foreman of Arlington, TX; one brother: Roosevelt Furlow, Jr. of Camden, AR; seven grandchildren: Christopher, Nadia, Jade, Tori, Aidan, Keaton, and Kara; eight great-grandchildren: Sa’Kia, Kaydon, Yana, Caliegh, Christian, Yara, Cyleigh, and Yava; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Women’s Crisis Center of South Arkansas at 1112 W.
