Inita Morris-Jones

Inita Morris Jones was born on June 25, 1953, in Los Angeles, California, to Henry and Lelar Mae Morris. She later met and married Samuel T. Jones. Together, they made their home in Arkadelphia, Arkansas, where Inita worked for many years as a home health aide, caring for others with kindness and compassion.

Inita was a sweet and loving soul who treasured time with her family and found joy in life’s simple pleasures. Her warmth and care will be remembered by those who knew and loved her.

She departed this life on Sunday, October 25, 2026, at The Blossoms at Midtown in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Inita was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Lelar Mae Morris. She leaves to cherish her memory her devoted husband, Samuel T. Jones of Arkadelphia, Arkansas; her children, Duntrey Francois Thompson and his son Devante Amaru Thompson of Beaverton, OE, Teela Tyshone Thompso and her children, Jenaia Thompson, Corian Thompson, Skydawn Washington, Logan Washington, Samara Colbert, Emoni Colbert, Kay’Dan Thompson, and Kay’Dance Thompson all of Little Rock, AR; and Samuel Thomas, Jr., of Suwanee, GA; sisters-in-law, Lottie Ware and Kenny Hamlin, Veronica Moore, Stephanie Thomas all of Arkadelphia. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews and friend’s.

Memorial Services will be at 1:00 PM Saturday, November 7, 2026 at Williams Funeral Home Chapel.
