James Jackson

James Jackson was born February 28, 1931. His parents were John Lee and Linnie B. Jackson.

James was a former employee of Budd Company in Detroit, Michigan and was a United State Army Veteran.

He was a modest man who enjoyed the simple pleasures that life offered. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Arcola; three sisters, one brother and one bonus son.

He leaves fond memories in the hearts of his wife, Geraldine Green Jackson of Stephens, AR; one grandson, Shannon J. D. Bryant of Detroit, MI; one great-granddaughter, Dominique Bryant of Detroit, MI;  two  great-great-grandchildren; three bonus daughters; two bonus sons; one sister, Genethia Peters; one brother, Rev. J. C. (Queen) Jackson both of Kansas City, MO; two foster sisters, Susie Ussery of Arkadelphia, AR  and Pauline Thompson of Minnesota. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Public visitation will be Friday, August 6, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home Van Buren in Camden. Services will be held graveside on Monday, August 9, 2021 at Good Hope Cemetery in Buena Vista, Arkansas with Bro. J. B. Thompson, officiating.
