Jennifer Mae Pugh

Jennifer Baughman Pugh was born in Kansas City, Missouri on September 8, 1979, to Delores P. Baughman.

Jennifer was raised in Kansas City and was a 1997 graduate of Schlage High School. She attended Junior College and later moved to Arkansas where she made friends easily. Her bubbly spirit and sweet personality was the highlight of her essence.

She was the familiar and beautiful smile at Neighbors in Hope, where she worked as a cashier. She was excited to be a mother and loved boasting about her three children and how smart there were.

Jennifer was a people person who loved to make people laugh, and just be the life of any party. She never met a stranger and would give anyone her last. She loved all music, and her favorite was pop rock.

She will be remembered for her wit, her entertaining stories, loud laugh, kindheartedness, and her sweet and calm spirit. She made sure she told you she loved you before ending any conversation. She was a die-hard Kansas City Chiefs fan, loved fishing, horses and arts/crafts.

Jennifer departed this life on Sunday, September 13, 2021. Her memories will live on in the lives of her children, Romarta Martin, Jr., Mariah Martin and Marcus Martin, Jr.; her beloved parents, Delores and Rory Cook; her brother, Damon Cook (Lani); the father of her children and friend, Marcus Martin, Sr.; special friends, Angelique Camboulive, Rosalyn James, Olivia Martin, Sharari Adams, Kiera Moore,and  Teresa Bradley. She also leaves aunts, uncles and numerous friends.

A celebration of her life will be shared at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 20, 2021 at Williams Funeral Home with Rev. Cory Weston, officiating.
