March 26, 1987 – November 1, 2025

Jeremy Jerome Watts, born March 26, 1987, in Camden, Arkansas, departed this earthly life unexpectedly on November 1, 2025, in Warrensburg, Missouri. A beloved son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend. Jeremy’s vibrant spirit and unwavering love left an indelible mark on all who knew him.

Jeremy, a true free spirit, leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion. He is survived by his mother, Beverly Lamar Watts of Camden, AR, and his father, Ronnie “Red” Watts A true free spirit, Jeremy lived with authenticity and heart.

Jeremy’s faith was rooted early in life as a member of The Greater New Calvary Church of God in Christ. He graduated from Camden Fairview High School in 2005 and briefly attended Arkansas Tech University before proudly serving in the United States Air Force. Most recently, he was employed at WireCo WorldGroup and made his home in Warrensburg, Missouri.

Jeremy was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Wilson Lamar, and his paternal grandparents, Marvin and Edna Watts.

He also leaves behind his cherished siblings, Jonathan L. Watts of Overton, TX, and Heather Watts of Texarkana, AR, as well as his beloved grandmother, Bernice “Madea” Lamar of Chidester, AR. He is lovingly remembered by a host of aunts and uncles—Kathy Bivens, Jennifer Lamar, Gregory Lamar, Lawrence Sanders (Cathy), Donell Watts (Charlotte), Sandra Watts Paden, Johnny Watts (Bobbie), Stanley Watts (Rechell), Marvin Watts (Tamicka)—and his great-uncle Charles Reed. Jeremy’s life was enriched by a village of family and friends, and his military brothers: Steve Martin, Jeremy Vassel, Robert Magariello, Stephon Smith, Nat Newbill, Kirk Cash, and Travis Henderson. He had a special family, Nick and Hollie Sweetland. He also leaves behind his cherished nieces, nephews, and many cousins.

Though his time with us was far too short, the love, laughter, and memories he gave will live on in our hearts forever. We are deeply grateful to have known him and will carry his light with us always.
