Judieth Myra Williams Shingledecker Steinman was born into this life January 23, 1956 to the union of Limon Louis Williams and Rosie Lee McCoy Williams. As a little girl her parents knew that Judieth would one day take on the world and do things her way.
Judieth confessed Christ as a teenager and united with Cottrell Chapel CME Church in Hot Springs, Arkansas. She grew up to be a charming and smart young lady. She was a 1976 graduate of Hot Springs High School and a 1982 graduate of the University of Central Arkansas in Conway where she earned a Bachelors of Arts degree.
She later enlisted in the United States Navy where she met Randall Shingledecker. Their relationship blossomed into marriage and in 1986 Neely Marie was born. In 1992 Judieth moved back to Arkansas and worked as a liaison for the Senior Olympics of Arkansas. She finally convinced her mother to join and toss horseshoes; eventually becoming the Arkansas Grand Champion.
Always aspiring for something new, she moved to Michigan in 1996 and began her career at Genesee County as a dedicated public servant. It was there that she met her beloved husband, Harold Steinman, and had her son, Joseph. She spent most of her time in Michigan raising her family. She loved to travel, and she eventually visited every continental state and Hawaii. After twenty years of civil service, Judieth retired from Genesee County in 2018. She spent her retirement relaxing and enjoying herself by catching up with friends and family.
She passed from this life on Saturday, March 30, 2019 in Hot Springs.
