Lorraine
Lorraine Bowie was born on March 30, 1966, in Smackover Arkansas. To Clara M. Bowie and Earnest Bowie. Lorraine took her rest on March 19, 2026.
Lorraine is a 1984 graduate of Gurdon High School. Upon graduating, Lorraine furthered her education at Little Rock Job Corps. Where she earned a degree in business and early childhood development in childcare.
Lorraine later started a family.
She leaves to mourn her passing three sons: Kiarra Ross of Arkadelphia Arkansas, Shaquille (She’mar) Bowie of Little Rock Arkansas, and Rashad Bowie of Arkadelphia Arkansas. Four grandsons Rashad Bowie Jr, Monteo Bowie, Braylen Hunter, and Shaquille Bowie Jr,.
She is survived by her two sisters Yolanda (Melvin) McCloud of Gurdon, Arkansas, and Lori Williams of Arkadelphia, Arkansas. Her two Brothers: Larry Rome of Lewisville, Texas, and Vincent (Tawana) Cummings of Hot Springs, Arkansas. Nephews Byron Bowie, Brandon Bowie, Labraylon Washington all form Gurdon Arkansas, Sharale Bowie of Arkadelphia, Malcolm (Shania) Rome of Lewisville Texas, DeVante Charles of Gurdon, Shane and Shawn Cummings both of Hot Springs Arkansas. Nieces Cecily Williams of Conway Arkansas, and Markisha Washington of Gurdon Arkansas, Dianna Rome of Lewisville Texas, and LaNori Charles of Benton, JaNya Nettlies, Zyriona Roberson of Gurdon. A favorite devoted uncle Terry G. Rogers Sr,. of Arkadelphia, Arkansas. A special cousin Cedric Williams of Hot Springs. Two caring care givers who was by her side, nephews Carl E. Washington Jr., of Gurdon, Arkansas and Christopher Williams of Caddo Valley, Arkansas. A great caring team of hospice nurses. Best friends Robert and Lola McGhee, Alice McCray and her younger sister who took her into her home, so that she would be surrounded by family. She leaves a host of relatives and friends.
