James 1:12 “Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.” James 1:12
On April 24, 1987, in Fordyce, Arkansas, God blessed Travis Thrower and Versa Warner Blackmon with a beautiful daughter, named Natasha Danielle. On Thursday, December 2, 2021, God said, “Well done my good and faithful servant”, it is time to come home.
Natasha Thrower Lampkin, fondly known as Tasha, accepted Christ as her personal Lord and Savior at an early age and was baptized at Greenville 1st Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. James Goodwin in Fordyce, AR. She was active in the youth department and was supportive of other activities as her health allowed. She loved her church and her church family.
She graduated from Fordyce High School in May 2005, where she was an honor and finished in the top ten of her class. Tasha furthered her education and attended the University of Arkansas at Monticello (UAM), where she graduated in May 2010 with a degree in Criminal Justice. While at UAM, Tasha was initiated into Krimson Kourts, Inc. with a group of young ladies who would remain her lifetime friends. Their friendship continued as one of devotion, dedication, love and respect even up to Natasha’s death.
Natasha was blessed with a beautiful baby girl on November 10, 2009 and she named her Ayana Marie. Ayana was her pride and joy and Tasha made sure that she had everything that she needed. Tasha was a very friendly person who never met a stranger. Tasha loved to have fun and had beautiful smile. She was very inquisitive and wouldn’t hesitate to ask anything that came to her mind. To know her was to love her.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, L.T. and Versa Warner, her paternal grandmother, Theola Thrower, and her sister, Kimberly Thrower.
