Olen Kyron Johnson

October 8, 1978 — July 25, 2021

Olen Kyron Johnson’s journey of life began in Prescott, Arkansas on October 8, 1978. He was the only son of three children born to Olen and Sharon Davis Johnson.

He accepted Christ at a young age and was a life-long member of Munns Chapel Baptist Church. As a youth he served on the usher board, sung in the choir, and always participated in vacation bible school.  “Big-Boi” as he was commonly known was a 1997 graduate of Prescott High School where he excelled in sports and demonstrated great skill as a football player for the Prescott Curley Wolves. One could always hear him walking the halls in school singing his favorite song at that time Blackberry Molasses. He was big in stature but had an even bigger spirit. He was a true and loyal “friends, friend”.

Kyron was an employee of Tyson Foods and worked hard to provide for his son Kyron. He gave his life to his son and made sure that he was a consistent and stable presence in his life.

Being from the south, he was not an outdoorsman, but he would rather busy himself watching sports, playing softball, or playing pool. He was a strong, very vocal supporter and fan of the Green Bay Packers. He enjoyed the music and lyrics by Z-RO. Above all, he loved being in the company of his friends and family. He touched and reached so many with just his simple smile.

His life was rewarding, full, and blessed. On Sunday, July 25, 2021, he slipped the bonds of this life for a life in eternity. His independent spirit, iron will, and strong character will never be duplicated but leaves an impression on the lives of those he touched and enriched along this life’s journey. RIP KEE

He was preceded in death by his father, Olen Johnson, and his grandparents.

A lifetime of love and memories will be forever felt by his beloved mother, Sharon Johnson of Prescott, AR; his son, Kyron M. Johnson of Prescott, AR; two sisters, Shanita Johnson of Prescott, AR and Shana Lewis (Andre) of Little Rock, AR; aunts, Shelia Davis and Shema Davis both of Dallas, TX, Murrel Johnson of Prescott, AR and Judy Montgomery (James) of Houston, TX; his uncles, Joseph Johnson (Cora) of Prescott, AR,  Stanley Davis, Derwin Davis, and Vincent Davis all of Nashville, AR, Lorenzo Davis (Sharon) of Plano, TX, Nicholas Davis of Las Vegas, NV and Timothy Davis (Imelda) of Texarkana AR.
