Patty Jo Bradford was born on August 15, 1959, in Camden, Arkansas, to Charlie “Ace” Bradford and Avanelle Williams. She was preceded in death by both of her parents.
From a young age, her faith was rooted in her life. She was a longtime member of New Haven Missionary Baptist Church in Camden, Arkansas.
The family lived in Camden, where Patty Jo attended Lincoln High School and Lafayette High School in the late 1970’s. She also graduated from Job Corp in Oklahoma City, OK, with a certification in Cosmetology. She later moved to Little Rock, Arkansas where she took on employment with St. Vincent CHI Hospital and UAMS (University of Arkansas Medical Science). She remained a faithful employee until her health failed.
Patty Jo loved to travel and enjoyed her family. She enjoyed spending quality time together, laughing, and talking about “old times.” Patty Jo enjoyed holidays and birthday gatherings. She would prepare large holiday dinners and enjoyed the moments with her children, sisters, grandchildren and other family members. Her role as a granny and great-granny brought her even greater job. She enjoyed life to the fullest. Her legacy of faith, love, laughter, and service will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew her. Patty Jo lived a full life and cherished her family.
She leaves to cherish her memories her children Dawn Bradford, Latasha Nicole Bradford and Ava Bradford, all of Little Rock, AR. Two sisters, Brenda Gale Bradford and Bobbie Bradford; One brother, Bryron (Sharon) Bradford; Six grandchildren, Kerria, Cerria, Katrina, Michael (Dasani), Myreunna, and Javion. Eleven great-grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Patty left her mark on the world and will be missed dearly!
