Pearlie Smith Rose

Pearlie Rose, 102, of Hampton, Arkansas passed from this life on Thursday, June 13, 2019. She lived a full blessed life and will be missed. She was born in Harrell, Arkansas on December 28, 1916 to the union of Earnie and Irma Tate Smith.

She married the handsome Odis Rose on December 3, 1937 and the Lord blessed their union with six children. They were married for 45 years until his passing on May 29, 1982.

Pearlie was a faithful and life-long member of First Baptist Church in Hampton where she served as church clerk.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Odis and son, Carey.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children: Betty Brown and her husband Dossie of Country Club Hill, IL, Joyce Jones and her husband Arleen Jones, Minnie Moore and William Rose all of Little Rock, AR, and Odis Rose of Hampton, AR. She also leaves ten grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren, as well as, a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.

A service honoring her life will be shared at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 21, 2019 at First Baptist Church Hampton with Bishop John Daniel, eulogist. Interment will be at Macedonia Cemetery under the direction of Williams Funeral Home Van Buren, 119 Van Buren Street, Camden. Sign the guestbook online at www.funeralsatwilliams.com
