Ri'Chard Mar’Keizst Walker

Ri’Chard Mar’Keizst Walker was born November 15, 2002, in Hot Springs, Arkansas to Mar’Keshia Goff and Richard Walker. He passed from this life on April 23, 2022.

He was baptized at a young age. He later joined his grandmother and united with Greater Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. 

Ri’Chard was active and fun loving baby whose nickname was “Pooh Man”. He grew up to be a handsome and intelligent young man. He was mannerable and respected his elders. He never met a stranger and always kept a smile on his face.

He enjoyed playing basketball and fishing. He’d spend countless hours playing his Xbox and spending time with his little brother. Ri’Chard loved making music and had inspirations of being a rapper. 

He was preceded in death by his great-grandmothers, Stella Kennedy, Lee Mary Hughes and Ida Mae Owens; his great-grandfathers, Eugene Hughes and Freddie Whitfield; his grandfather, Edward “Leo” Walker; his uncle, Calvin “Silk” Kennedy and cousins, Ashley Hughes and Keith Joyce. 

Ri’Chard will forever be missed by his mother, Markeshia (DuRon) Goff; his father, Richard (LuChunnia) Walker; his siblings, E’Liah Mayo, Ri’Chaunna Walker, Rihana Walker, Kaylyn Beasley, and Kaydlyn Beasley; his bonus siblings, Xavia McCoy and Quentin “Deuce” McCoy; his grandparents, Donna (Roy) Buckley, Eddie (Emma) Hughes and Mary Walker; his great-grandmother, Lillie Mae Walker; aunts, Tina Goff,  Tiffany “Juicy” Goff, Jalise Morris; Remona (Rex) Hawkins, Baisha (Marcus) Berger, Chantelle Banscom, Brittney Wesson and Lashay Hughes; uncles, Tyrone Harris, Jason Stewart, and Eddie Hughes, Jr.; his godmother, Veronica Stewart; and his godfather, Trey Abrams. He also leaves special cousins, Doderick McGhee, Jr., Markel Berger, Day’Shyia House, several other cousins, other family members; his best friends, Michael Stewart, Kylan Allison, Garirian Allison, Zane Huddleston, Elijah McBride and numerous friends.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Friday, May 6, 2022 at Williams Funeral Home. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 7, 2022 at Greater Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with Dr. Lewis A. Shepherd, Jr., eulogist. Interment will be at Hampton Springs Cemetery in Carthage, Arkansas.

Pallbearers will be Keithton Kennedy, Khiry Smith, Michael Stewart,Trey Abrams, Brayden Thomas, Chase Browning and Ja’Rhrealin Heyward. Honorary pallbearers will be Mack Kennedy, Antonio Duke, Marvin Kennedy, Vincent Murray, Stacy Kennedy ad Courtney Morgan.
