Roy Neil Beavers

Roy Neil Beavers was born in Gurdon, Arkansas on December 23, 1941. He resided in Dallas, Texas, and passed away peacefully on May 22, 2024, in his home at the age of 83. 

He was a proficient handyman; accomplished farmer; gardener with a green thumb; lifelong dedicated son; loyal brother and an awesome uncle who had an avid love of homemade sweet potato pie.

Roy was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Murmon Beavers, Sr. and Mrs. Dorothy Leigh Stitts-Beavers, and his brother, Mr. Murmon Beavers Jr.

He is survived by his brother, Mr. Henry Lee Beavers- brother Dallas TX; Ms. DeAnna Elaine Beavers-niece Dallas TX; Mr. Donald Everett Beavers-nephew; Ms. Henrietta Leigh Beavers-niece Mesquite TX; Adam Leland Beavers-nephew Dallas TX; Marion Beavers-niece Gurdon Ark; Anthony Ahhaitty-nephew Farmers Branch TX; Jerusha Beavers- niece-Garland TX; Donald Beavers Jr.-nephew Garland TX; Ms. Sophia Jerusha Beavers-former sister-in-law Mesquite TX; Kathleen Ahhaitty-Beavers - niece-in-law Garland TX; Mr. Charlie Neal Stitts-Uncle Dallas TX; Mrs. Lois Beavers-Aunt Dallas TX and a host relatives and friends. 

There will be no public viewing. Services will be held at noon on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at Williams Funeral Home with Rev. Charlie Thomas, officiating. The interment will be at Holly Grove Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Donald Beavers Sr., Adam Beavers and Donald Beavers Jr.
