Tennie Lou Wilson

June 24, 1933 — March 17, 2019

Tennie Lou Wilson was born in Clark County, Arkansas on June 24, 1933 to the union of Roy Wells, Sr., and Kizora McGhee Wells.

She was a 1951 graduate of Peake High School. She was a community activist with ACORN.

Tennie enjoyed listening to gospel music and was not too particular about cooking. Some of her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends. Her favorite athletes were Venus and Serena Williams. She was a faithful member of Pine Street Church of Christ and enjoyed worship and study.

She passed from this life on Sunday, March 17, 2019 after 85 full years of life. Her presence will be missed, but her love will never be forgotten.

Her legacy continues with her children Apache McKinney of Gwynn Oak, MD, Ray Willis of Arkadelphia, AR, Boyce Willis and Joel Willis both of Dallas, TX, Emmanuel Wilson of New Boston, TX and Arron Wilson of Arkadelphia, AR; twelve grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. She also leaves nieces, nephews, cousins, and the Church of Christ family.
