Tori Jenean Middleton

February 5, 1978 — July 26, 2024

Arkadelphia

With heavy but grateful hearts, we announce the forthcoming celebration of the life of Tori Jenean Middleton, a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend. On August 3, 2024, at 2:00 pm, a celebration of her life will be held at Mt. Canaan Baptist Church in Gurdon to honor Tori's memory and the impact she had on all those who knew her.

From a young age, Tori's spiritual journey began at West Gum Springs COGIC, where she found solace in her faith. She accomplished her academic milestones by graduating proudly from Arkadelphia High School in 1996 and pursuing further education at Henderson State University.

Tori was a vibrant soul who brought joy and laughter wherever she went. Known for her love of seafood, her talent for playing the piano by ear, and her infectious spirit, she was a beloved mother to her daughter and son, Ariana and Malik Middleton, happy grandmother of Karmen Torrence and a cherished sister to Alfia Collins. She was deeply family-oriented, a sports enthusiast who adored football and basketball, and a faithful member of the community, regularly attending bible study and sharing her love for music and dance as a choir member and praise dancer.

Her charismatic presence, quick wit, and ability to make friends effortlessly will be dearly missed. Tori's legacy lives on in the laughter she shared, the love she gave, and the countless memories she created with those around her. Her impact on our lives will forever be cherished and remembered.

Tori slept peacefully into the Lord’s embrace on Thursday, July 26, 2024, at CHI St. Vincent Hospital in Hot Springs. She joins her parents, Annette Middleton (June 18, 2015) and Londell Middleton (April 8, 2018) and her sister Denise Lajoyce Middleton- Barton (January 24, 2014) in eternal peace.

Tori will be warmly remembered by those she leaves behind, including her loving daughter Ariana and son Malik; her granddaughter, Karmen, and devoted sister Alfia; her niece and nephews, Brittany Middleton, Kevin Barton, Jr., Kendrick Barton, and Joshua “Josh” Collins; her great-nieces and nephews, Makiyah Wyatt, Zyon Wyatt, Zachary Middleton,Tynesha Barton, Kayden Du'Pree Collins, and Je'Kaylin Isaiah Collins; an aunt, Varrie Nicholson, her best friends, Cynthia Jones, Patrice Lashell, Jackie Walker and Taneka Delamar, as well as, several cousins and the Mt. Canaan Baptist Church family.

As we come together to celebrate Tori's life, let us remember her with fondness and gratitude for the joy she brought to us all. In the spirit of her lively personality, let us gather to share stories, laughter, and the love that she so freely gave. Through tears and smiles, we honor Tori for the light she was in our lives and the legacy she leaves behind. May her spirit continue to shine brightly in our hearts as we celebrate a life well-lived.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Friday, August 2, 2024 at Williams Funeral Home. Family and friends are asked to wear purple, Tori’s favorite color.
